Four Way Test Speech Contest

On March 24, 2015 Hopkinton Rotary hosted the Four Way Test Speech contest at the Hopkinton Town Library. Hopkinton Middle High School English teacher Susan McClellan  assembled six students to compete in the contest: Cydonia Hubicki, Kenneth Andrew, Caitlyn McGlashan, Evan Schindewolf, Dominic Repucci and Joseph Norris. Irv Gordon was the MC for the event and scoring was ably provided by Rotarians Laura Beaudoin and Mike Metcalf and Hopkinton resident Matt Cairns.  As usual, the content of all six speeches was excellent making our judges job extremely difficult. Finishing in first place was Cydonia Hubicki and second place was awarded to Joe Norris. Ms. Hubicki will compete in the district semi-finals on April 19 at the Henniker Community Center.
